Introduction

      During the early 1960s-70s, America and its government were dealing with many crises, both political and otherwise. The war in Vietnam was reaching a turning point, and Americans were distrusting of their government. This blog gives a summary of many different events that happened during this time period.  To start off, we will include first hand experiences from people born before 1959. Then, some pictures, songs, and poems that accurately represent the era. Lastly, we will discuss President Johnson's Great Society and President Nixon's Watergate scandal.
